Oracle Day 2011 Istanbul (Part II)

Yesterday, I presented at Oracle Day 2011 Istanbul. It was taken place in Swiss Hotel. I found opportunity to talk with my friends in TROUG and some readers of my blog. There was a huge interest to the event which contains 9 parallel sessions. As usual, our (TROUG) sessions were the favorites for the technical staff. Thanks to Oracle Turkey, we gave our presentations at one of the biggest conference rooms in Swiss Hotel, and we managed to fill the room.

I can say that Oracle Day 2011 was a great success for TROUG. I’m happy to be a part of it.

This shot was taken at the end of presentations. Unfortunately it is taken by IPhone so it’s a little bit fussy. The guys wearing red sweatshirts are the management stuff of TROUG. By the way, I’m standing at the very left side of the picture and marked with a blue arrow. 🙂

As you might know, I’m deeply interested with Enterprise Manager and I would prefer to give a presentation about Enterprise Manager Cloud Control or Ops Center, but this time I made a change and decided to speak about Oracle Application Express. APEX is not much popular in Turkey, yet. I tried to introduce APEX to Turkish Oracle users. Positive feedback from the audience encouraged me to give more presentations about APEX in future.
